Many of you wonder about the difference between the BOLD BREEZE and the Classic models such as LUDDY, VAARY, LUUN….
It’s the material that makes the difference. We use original Biothane from the USA which is available in different thicknesses.

The BOLD BREEZE models are made by using „super heavy Biothane“.

The Classic models like LUDDY, LUUN, VAARY… are made by using standard Biothane.

COLOR YOUR LIFE ♥
If you are going to order a custom collar for your dog it has to fit perfectly. There are many ways each shop wants you to measure.
Here we will explain what you need and how to find out the size for a perfect fitting Loulein collar ♥
1. How to
1. Measuring tape
2. Rope and meter (if you don’t have a flexible measuring tape)
3. Fitting collar you already have
4. Your dog ♡
Note: we measure in centimeters (cm).
Measure a fitting collar:
1. Open collar → measure behind the buckle to the hole you use. You can do the same with the rope and the meter
2. Closed collar → put the measuring tape or rope around the collar in the inside. Make sure there’s no space in between.
2. Measure your dog
1. Take the measuring tape / rope around the dogs neck where the collar is
in the position for wearing it ‑ mostly middle of neck.
2. Lay the tape / rope around without any fingers or space in between. Do not tighten too much.
3. Get the size shown on your tape. Using a rope: get it off with leaving
your fingers on the position and hold next to the meter.
3. Collars with buckle
Collars with a buckle are adjustable ‑ our collars come with 5 holes. The size
you order is on the middle hole for standard. If needed, you can go two
holes smaller or bigger.
This type of collar is recommended when your dogs neck size varies a bit or your dog is in growth.
The distance between the holes is:
• collars under 30cm: 1,5cm
• collars from 30cm: 2cm
If you have a young dog read below how the „Grow Big“ works.
For this type of collar you have to take one measurement of your dogs neck or the fitting collar you have.
4. Slip collars
Slip collars are not adjustable in size. You cannot open this kind of
collar. It’s going to be slipped over your dogs head to get on or off.
As you can see in the picture the collar has a stop to avoid strangulation. For this type of collar you need to take two sizes.
1. Open position: Size of the biggest circumference of your dogs head. Measure around the head at its largest position.
If you are not sure about the right position and size: take a adjustable
collar and put it to the size which is big enough to slip it over the
head and also off (taking it off is most of the time more difficult than
on). Measure the size of the collar like described below ‑ chapter 1 or 2.
2. Closed position: Size of your dogs neck. Read under
chapter 2. how it works when you measure at your dog. For measuring with
a existing collar read chapter 1.
5. Non adjustable collars
This type of collar cannot be opened or adjusted in size. This is to slip
over and go. Also if your dog is pulling the size stays loose and does
Good for long haired dogs or dogs with smaller heads.
You need to take one size for this collar:
Biggest circumference of the head. Read in chapter 1. or 2 how it works.
6. Grow Big
Is your dog still growing? Puppy or youngster?
Grow Big is something you really need ♡
Grow Big is only available for collars with buckle.
How it works: The actual size of the neck will be on the smallest setting of the collar. The collars have 5 holes in the leather strap which means you have 4 holes to adjust it bigger in the time of growing big.
If you expect your pup to grow even more we can add another sixth hole for you.
Read chapter 1 or 2 to read how to measure the size.
A leash is such an significant product when it comes to its handling and your personal preferences. It’s so important to find the perfect leash for yourself to feel comfortable with and without your dog at the other side.
Do you like handstrap leashes or do you prefer adjustable leashes? Long or short? For which situation do you need your leash?
This questions you should ask yourself when it comes to choose your leash. See our leashes and learn the differences.
Handstrap leashes have a fixed length. This models can be really short and also long. The strap is made out of leather which gives you a soft feeling in your hand. Every handstrap leash is equipped with a fixed ring at the strap which allows you to hook the carabiner in it ‑ perfect for carrying like a cross body when your dog is running without the leash.
Classic, simple, pleasant!
Our models with handstrap
Lengths of LUUN
60cm, 100cm, 120cm, 150cm, 180cm, 200cm
various with the adjustable leash model. Both ends of the leash have
carabiners. The rings are attached to leash in the number you choose it:
1x, 2x or 3x (number is depending on the length)
With this leash you
can create your own sized handstrap. This allows you the manage the
length of the leash based on the need of the situation. For example: a
two meter leash can be used doing a small loop which is ~175cm for your
dog. Or you can half the length using the ring next the the second
carabiner. Your leash is now ~110cm long.
Also you can carry the adjustable leash like a cross body to keep your hands free when your dog is running free.
TIPP ‑ If you want to have more length you can add the handstrap for PAYR and easily click it on.
Do your own variations ‑ with the adjustable leash.

the length and colour of the leashes yourself.

Width of the leash
NEW ‑ finally we talk about the width of the leash. Our standard is a width of 19mm. For people (mostly men) with bigger hands we offer 25mm wide leashes. Try it with an existing collar which width is comfortable for you.
Always remember ‑ it also needs to be comfy when your dog pulls 😉
If the leash is not wide enough it could hurt your hands ‑ except you have a really light weight or small doggy ♥ that’s why our standard width is 19mm ‑ it’s perfect for smaller, normal and bigger dogs… also when they go forward sometimes 😉
